Barbecue sauce ¼ cup
Hot salsa ¼ cup
Minced jalapeno ½ tsp.
Chili powder dash
White onion, small dice ¼ cup
Shredded cheddar cheese ¼ cup

Method:

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine barbecue sauce, salsa, jalapeno, and chili powder. Cook until heated through and ingredients are fully combined, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  2. Place grilled dog in bun, top with salsa mixture, and sprinkle with onions and cheese.

Ground beef 1 lb.
Tomato sauce 28 oz.
Diced tomatoes 14 oz. can
White onion, medium dice ½ cup
Minced garlic 2 tsp.
Paprika 1 Tbsp.
Chili powder 1 Tbsp.
Stone ground mustard 1 Tbsp.
Fresh lemon juice 1½ tsp.
Worcestershire sauce 2 tsp.
Tabasco sauce 2 tsp.
Ground ginger 1/8 tsp.
Ground cloves dash
Ground cinnamon dash
Freshly ground black pepper  
Salt  
Olive oil, for sautéing  

Method:

  1. In a medium sized, heavy-bottom pot, sauté onions in olive oil for 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for an additional minute. Add ground beef and brown until it is no longer pink. If desired, drain fat.
  2. Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, paprika, chili powder, mustard, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, Tabasco sauce, ginger, clove, and cinnamon. Stir together and simmer until the ground beef mixture thickens, approximately 1 hour. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. Place grilled dog in bun and top with ground beef mixture.

Mashed potatoes (instant or homemade) 1 cup
Shredded cheddar cheese ¼ cup
Stone ground mustard

Method:

  1. Prepare mashed potatoes. Stir cheese into potatoes until melted and fully incorporated.
  2. Slit each hot dog open (being careful to keep it intact) and add mustard along length of dog. Stuff dog with cheese mashed potatoes.
  3. On a foil–lined baking sheet, place hot dogs under broiler for 5-8 minutes until heated through and potatoes are lightly browned.
  4. Place each dog in a bun and sprinkle with paprika before serving.

Method:

  1. In a medium bowl, combine coleslaw mix, mustard, mayonnaise, horseradish sauce, and celery seed. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

Vegetable oil 2 Tbsp.
Yellow onions, sliced ¼-inch thick 1½ cup
Barbecue sauce ¼ cup
Honey ¼ tsp.
Jack Daniel’s whiskey 1/3 cup
Ground cinnamon 1/8 tsp.
Salt  

Method:

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a medium skillet, over medium heat.
  2. Place onions in skillet and sauté for 7-10 minutes, until soft and translucent.
  3. Add barbecue sauce, honey, and cinnamon.
  4. Stir in whiskey and bring to a boil.
  5. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Season to taste.
  7. Place grilled dog in bun, top with barbeque onion sauce, and sprinkle with crumbled bacon.

Method:

Method:

  1. Rub inside of a foil pie pan with garlic and discard garlic. Combine rest of ingredients in pie pan. Cover and refrigerate or place in cooler until ready to use.
  2. Pre-heat grill to medium. Remove cover from foil pan and place on grill. Heat, stirring occasionally until cheese is melted. Serve warm right from a cooler corner of the grill.
